Sainath Reddy

Backend Engineer at Garden Finance

I build distributed systems, blockchain infrastructure, and developer tooling in Rust. I focus on production systems for financial infrastructure, from cross-chain settlement systems and trading infrastructure to open-source tools used by developers.

Garden Finance

Sep 2024 — Present (1y 11m)

Backend and solver infrastructure powering Garden's cross-chain swap protocol. $2.3B+ settled across 15+ chains with sub-minute swap execution.

Backend DeveloperJun 2025 — Present (1y 2m)
  • Led cross-chain integrations for Starknet, Solana, and XRPL, extending Garden's settlement infrastructure to new chains.
  • Architected Garden's V2 API, opening the protocol to external integrators (Li.Fi, Rango, Phantom, and 30+ others), now powering $110M+ in third-party volume.
  • Engineered Garden's solver, a concurrent Rust market maker that prices and fills cross-chain swaps from live market data in real time, routing execution across Jupiter, CoW Swap, Uniswap, and Astra Markets while managing inventory and exposure.
  • Built the solver's Binance and Hyperliquid integrations across their market-data and order APIs: spot markets for cross-venue inventory rebalancing, and USD-margined perpetuals for delta-neutral hedging and price protection.
InternSep 2024 — Jun 2025 (9m)
  • Implemented WebAuthn passkey sign-in (Face ID and Touch ID) for the Garden app.
  • Prototyped a MetaMask Snap bringing Garden's cross-chain swaps directly into MetaMask.

Full-Stack InternRemote
  • Built the internal service dashboard for the e-bike rental operation: vehicle service-cycle tracking, workshop inventory management, and part requests to inventory managers.
  • Shipped the partner rental dashboard with live vehicle tracking, payments, and billing.

selected engineering work

One-command localnet framework for EVM, Solana, Starknet, Bitcoin, and Litecoin: reproducible blockchain environments for integration testing and CI. Each network boots with pre-funded accounts, a unified faucet, and contracts pre-deployed at fixed addresses, exposed through a Rust testkit library with first-class CI integration and per-chain block explorers.

Pay-per-call payments for AI agents on XRPL. Wrap any API in one line of middleware so agents pay per request over x402, settled natively in RLUSD or XRP.

CDP protocol that lets users borrow OrynUSD stablecoins against Uniswap V3 LP position NFTs as collateral, up to 80% LTV. Positions continue earning trading fees while locked. Uses Pyth price feeds for real-time collateral valuation.

open source contributions

atomiqlabs/atomiq-sdk

Used the destination-token amount as the Bitcoin output instead of sats; fixed the output and its check.

atomiqlabs/atomiq-lp-lib

Price feed returned mSat instead of µSat, making prices 1000× too small; fixed the unit conversion.

atomiqlabs/atomiq-chain-starknet

Wallet for already-deployed accounts that verifies the key controls the account with an on-chain signature.

software-mansion/starknet-rust

Removed a redundant, out-of-date BlockId type and its per-call-site conversions (−51 LOC net).
